External Transfers
External Transfers are offered through Online and Mobile Banking. This is a convenient, risk-managed way to make account-to-account (you own both accounts) transfers.
FSB wants to make it easy for our customers to bank with us! Offering a consolidated set of frequently used money movement tools – Bill Pay, Zelle® and our new External Transfer service hopefully accomplishes that goal!
How to Start Using External Transfer
- Enroll or login to Online or Mobile Banking.
- Click on the Transfers Link.
- Click on the Launch External Transfer Link.
- Accept the Terms of Service if asked.
- Add External Account.
- Account verification can vary depending on who the external financial intuition is. It may be immediate, you may have to verify online credentials or it may require a micro deposit verification. Deposits will be available to verify next business day.
- Once your account is verified, complete the External Transfer.
External Transfer:
- Transfer Funds into and out of checking, savings, and money market accounts between different institutions.
- Transfer money from another Bank to make a loan payment at FSB.
Timing of the External Transfer
- Most transfers are 3 day transfers. This is due to security parameters.
- Next day transfers are available under certain circumstances and once a customer's pattern has been established. Please call the Bank if you are in need of a next day transfer and that option is not available to you in Online/Mobile Banking.
